Amber Lynn

Amber Lynn is a beautiful Terrier mix with the most striking amber eyes, a soft tan-and-white coat, and adorable oversized ears that somehow make every expression even cuter. She was born on March 1, 2025, and currently weighs around 55-60 pounds. Amber Lynn is still very much a young dog at heart – playful, affectionate, and full of personality. She loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and is a champion chewer who appreciates a good durable toy. She's also surprisingly tolerant of dress-up sessions and looks pretty adorable in a sweater! Her favorite thing in the world, though, is her people. Amber forms deep bonds with her humans and loves wholeheartedly. She wants to be involved in everything you're doing and is happiest when she can spend her days near her favorite person. In return, she'll give you endless affection, loyalty, and plenty of laughs. Amber is confident, social, and learns well with consistency and patience. She's equal parts goofy, loving, and loyal. She's the kind of dog who will make you laugh every day, keep you company through everything, and love her family with her whole heart.

Ideal Home

Amber Lynn would do best in a home with older teens rather than small children due to her enthusiasm and energy. She can be selective with other dogs, generally doing best with those that match her size and energy level, or she may be perfectly happy as your one-and-only pet, as she likes being the center of attention. She can be slightly cautious around new people and tends to be protective of those she loves, so she'd do best with an adopter who appreciates a loyal, devoted companion and can provide structure and guidance.

Training & Support

Amber Lynn is crate trained, mostly potty trained, and walks fairly well on a leash with occasional reminders. She can be a little bossy at times, especially around food and toys, so slow introductions and thoughtful management are important. She has a high energy level and thrives with daily exercise, playtime, and mental enrichment. Because she is protective of her loved ones, she will need an adopter who can provide structure and guidance.

Transporation

Amber Lynn is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue. Transports depart each week.
