Hazel

I'm Hazel, a sweet, snuggly goofball with uniquely mismatched ears – one stands tall, the other flops down! My foster mom calls me her "velcro girl" because I love to be close. I'm fascinated by snow but not a fan of chilly winds. I enjoy exploring and showering my favorite people with surprise-attack kisses. You might even catch me twitching in my sleep during adorable puppy dreams!

Ideal Home

I'm already a pro at potty training, though I can only hold it for about six hours at a time right now. I happily go into my kennel with a treat, and I settle down quickly, though I might give a little bark if you're still nearby after my treat. I sleep soundly in my kennel through the night. I love being with my people and would thrive in a home where I can get plenty of attention. I absolutely adore children and am learning to be gentle around them. I also enjoy playing with other dogs and am eager to meet them!

Training & Support

I've mastered "sit" and am working hard on "stay," "leave it," "down," "up," and "shake." I would absolutely love to take a training class with you – I live for attention, treats, and praise! As a puppy, I enjoy chewing, but I'm easily redirected to appropriate toys. I have a playful, prancy trot on walks and celebrate successful potty breaks with grand-jetes and pirouettes! My biggest motivators are treats, praise, chew/squeaky toys, and quality playtime like fetch.
