Holliday is an approximately 2-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a nose dusted with adorable freckles. He's a delightful mix of goofy charm and affectionate shadow, always ready to lean into love. His greatest aspiration is to be a cherished lap dog, sharing your couch and your life. Holliday expresses his joy with happy "tippy-taps" of his feet, a charming habit that is sure to bring a smile to your face. He's a smart and responsive boy, eager to learn and connect with his forever family.
Ideal Home
Holliday would thrive in a home with a yard where he can safely explore and build his leash-walking skills. He would do best in a home with older children who won't be overwhelmed by his enthusiastic greetings, as he can be a bit jumpy when excited. He would also appreciate a home with a similarly sized, medium-energy dog companion who can help him learn about play.
Ongoing Health
Holliday is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been heartworm tested.
Training & Support
Holliday is still learning the ropes of home life and is working on his leash manners, as he tends to pull when excited by other dogs. He is, however, very responsive to guidance and correction. He is also learning to manage his excitement when greeting people, and while he's working on not jumping, his affection is always gentle and from a joyful place.

Holliday is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
