Meet Rosella, or Rose as we affectionately call her, a sweet blossom of a dog! This approximately 45-pound Carolina Dog mix, with an estimated birthday of December 29, 2019, has a personality as delightful as her name. Rose knows "sit" and "shake" and is always eager to show off her smarts and please her people. Her happy-go-lucky demeanor is sure to bring a smile to everyone she meets.
Rose is a true survivor. She was found abandoned, dumped from a car with a collar so deeply embedded in her neck that it had caused severe wounds. Her recovery has been nothing short of miraculous, and today she is fully healed. She wears her scars with pride, a testament to her strength and resilience. Rose radiates happiness and hope, and all she needs now is a forever best friend to share her radiant spirit with.

Rose has not yet met any other dogs or cats at the rescue, so introductions to resident pets will be important.

Training & Support
Rose is kennel and potty trained and eager to please, making her a joy to train. As a reminder, our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. - Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
Transportation
Rose is located in Houston, TX. Out-of-state transport is available. Pickup locations for transported dogs may vary, including a nearby town, county, or state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
