Dolly

Dolly is a beautiful, big baby shepherd, only about a year and a half old, and has already experienced disappointment from many people in her young life. She's a 70lb giant puppy looking for a home that will provide the training, exercise, and companionship this smart, active breed needs to thrive. Dolly bonds very quickly and is a total velcro dog. She's been friendly with all staff and volunteers at the shelter, but does need someone who understands shepherds and their potential for protective tendencies and training needs.

Ideal Home

Dolly is definitely not a candidate for homes with kitties or smaller animals. She might enjoy a large doggie brother with proper introductions and management, or a single-pet home would be ideal.

Dolly has been spayed.

Training & Support

Crate-training and getting Dolly accustomed to a crate is a must as she learns house manners, living in a real home for the first time. She's been working on acclimating to some quiet crate time at the shelter and making great progress.
