Rusty

Rusty is a spunky 4-5 year old Black Mouth Cur Shepherd mix who weighs about 50lbs! He's a bit of a clown and loves to play, especially a good game of keep away or chase. Rusty is neutered, up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's been perfect in his foster home with potty training and crate training, and he rides well in the car.

Ideal Home

Rusty would do best in an active home with a fenced yard. He's not off-leash trained and would not be a good fit for an apartment. He can live with other medium to large dogs, male or female, or be the only dog. His compatibility with cats is unknown. He would do well with a couple, a single person, or a family with children over 10 years old, as he can get excited and might knock over a smaller child.

Rusty is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Rusty is house-trained and crate-trained in his foster home. He knows basic commands and is motivated by treats. He is not off-leash trained.
