Misty Blue is a beautiful and spirited girl with a heart of gold. She came to us pregnant and a few days later, welcomed her puppies into the world. She was a wonderfully protective mom and slowly learned to trust her foster mom. Once her puppies were weaned and adopted, we focused on making Misty Blue the best version of herself.
Ideal Home
Misty Blue is an athlete who would excel at agility, hiking, or any activity that gives her a "job." She loves to jump, climb, and balance and would thrive with an experienced owner who can provide firm but fun guidance. Because she chases small creatures, a secure fence is required. She is looking for an adventure buddy who also enjoys relaxing on the couch for a movie after a fun-filled day. She can be dog-tolerant in public and is learning to play with other dogs, but in a home, she would do best with a male dog or as the only dog. She is not a good fit for homes with cats. Children over 10 years old are welcome.
Ongoing Health
Misty Blue is heartworm tested and on prevention, fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, crate-trained, and house-trained.
Training & Support
Misty Blue can be stubborn, and building trust and bonding are very important to her. She needs daily interaction, exercise, and mental stimulation to be happy. She spent two weeks at a board and train facility where she began learning to play appropriately with other dogs and meet new people. She is good with people and in public, so training can continue anywhere.
