Calliope

Calliope is a delightful 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs a lean 60 lbs. She came to us as a stray who was very pregnant, and she successfully gave birth to ten healthy puppies! Now that her maternal duties are complete, it's her turn to find a loving forever home. Calliope is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet and is already housebroken.

Ideal Home

Calliope would do best in a home where she is the only animal, as she has resource guarding tendencies with other pets.

Ongoing Health

Calliope tested negative for heartworm. She has been spayed and is up-to-date on her vaccines.

Training & Support

As Calliope has resource guarding with other animals, guidance on managing this will be important for her successful integration into a new home.
