Meet Shiva! This sweet girl is a 40lb, spayed female American Bulldog/Pit Mix with a birthday of September 28, 2022. Shiva is a smart and active girl who loves to play and explore. She knows "sit," "shake," and "down," and would love an active family to join her on hikes and bike rides. She also enjoys toys and plenty of human companionship. One of her cutest quirks is her love for back rubs, especially when they involve playing with curtains! Shiva is potty trained and generally has a good temperament, but she does need more socialization with humans and dogs. She has experience with chickens and pigs, and was even best friends with a potbelly pig when she was younger! Shiva also does well with children.

Ideal Home

Shiva would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and attention. She enjoys companionship and can get lonely if left alone for too long, so she wouldn't be a good fit for apartment living unless her neighbors are very understanding, as she may "sing" or howl.

Ongoing Health

Shiva is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shiva is potty and crate trained, though she does not enjoy being in a crate. She would benefit from continued socialization with humans and dogs.
