Abigail Miriam, an approximately 4-year-old Labrador Retriever, is a remarkable girl with dream English Labrador Retriever conformation. She boasts an incredibly thick, soft, solid black coat, a blocky head, a stout body, and a gorgeous "otter" tail. Abigail loves baths and is known to drink water straight from a hose. She's a fast eater and always finishes her food, making sure her bowl is spotless! She's a goofy girl, but what truly shines is her intelligence. The saying "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" doesn't apply to Abigail; she never shies away from a challenge, whether on land or in water. Hiking new trails and playing at the beach are some of her favorite activities. She's a natural retriever, bringing back anything you throw, from a duck to a sock. To her surprise, beyond retrieving and eating, one of her favorite pastimes is going on car rides – she hops in the moment the door opens, ready for adventure! She's happy to problem-solve and has an impeccable pedigree from well-known bloodlines. Abigail has earned her Trick Dog Novice and Virtual Home Manners Adult titles. She is also a certified Therapy Dog with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Abigail will be ready to go to her forever home after her second and final litter in January 2027. She is highly trained and will be spayed before going home. She is current on all vaccinations and yearly exams and has been on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We are extremely protective of our dogs and will be very picky about the home she goes to. Abigail will only be approved to go to a home that can offer her more than what she already gets here. Our dogs are members of our pack and receive care above and beyond. They are family members. They travel with us, go on adventures with us, and hang out with us. Since Abigail was a pup, she has always had her doggy friends with her on her adventures. When Abigail is adopted out, she will only be going to a forever home with a pup from her last litter by her side. She is a pack member and we know that she would do best still being able to have a best friend if and when she goes to a new forever home. To adopt Mom and Puppy together is a double privilege, one that we will not take lightly. Abigail will only go to the best of homes.
Ideal Home
Abigail will only be approved to go to a home that can offer her more than what she already gets here. She will only be going to a forever home with a pup from her last litter by her side, as she is a pack member and would do best still being able to have a best friend.

Abigail is located in Prince George, VA. She can be picked up there, the breeder can meet you halfway, or she can travel to you.
