A little about them
Meet Goose, a young Great Dane with a huge heart and a wonderfully goofy, affectionate personality. He loves people, dogs, cuddles, dog-park adventures, and being part of everyday family life. Goose is looking for a new home through no fault of his own because his family’s new 12-hour work schedule leaves them unable to provide the companionship and enrichment he needs.
He is energetic and playful, but settles into a loving cuddle companion after exercise. Goose would enjoy a playful canine companion, though he can also thrive as an only dog with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and quality time. He may jump up when greeting people, is watchful after dark, dislikes soccer balls, and loves tennis balls.
Ideal Home
Goose would do best with a family able to include him in daily life and provide regular activity, companionship, and continued training. Because of his size and puppy enthusiasm, a home with children over six years old is recommended. He is affectionate with adults and older children.
Ongoing Health
Goose was born January 9, 2025. He is neutered, house trained, up to date on vaccinations, and receives monthly Simparica Trio.
Training & Support
Goose walks well on leash and has a solid recall, especially when something fun is waiting. He is eager to please and would benefit from continued training as he matures.
