Hi there! My name is Brody, and I'm a sweet and wiggly year-old deaf pit bull mix. I came to Hi Tor as a stray and, even though my family was found, they didn't want me anymore. Now, I'm patiently waiting for my real forever family to find me! Get ready for some serious butt wiggles when I get excited – it's my favorite! I can be a little shy with new people, so I'm looking for a family with some dog experience, and bonus points if you have experience with deaf dogs! I'll need a few meet-and-greets before I can go home with you. While I've lived with kids and dogs before, my friends here think it would be best for me to be the only furry friend in my new home. No cats for me, please!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a patient and experienced adopter who understands how to best work with a deaf dog. It will be best for me to be the only pet in the home, and I need to avoid living with cats.

Training & Support

I am deaf, so I rely on visual cues and gentle handling. My adopter should be prepared to work with me on my stranger danger anxiety and ensure I have a safe and enriching environment.
