Henry (Neutered)

Henry is a handsome 1-1/2 year old male Boxer/Terrier mix who was surrendered by his family. He was dearly loved by his previous family, but unfortunately, he developed a habit of nipping/snapping at their children, which led to his return. Henry first came to our shelter as a 10-week-old puppy and was described as having an adorable face with dark brown eyes, black shading on his muzzle, and short floppy ears. He was a happy, outgoing puppy who loved attention and was prone to mischief during his chewing stage. He went to a foster home and was neutered and vaccinated for rabies before being adopted by them. He lived with his adoptive family for over a year before they made the difficult decision to return him due to his behavior with their children.

Ideal Home

Henry would likely thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can provide consistent guidance and training. Due to his past behavior with children, he may do best in a home without young children.

Ongoing Health

Henry has been neutered and vaccinated for rabies.

Training & Support

Henry would benefit from obedience and training classes to help him reach his full potential. He is described as a good dog who needs a little assistance to become the best dog.
