Kailani

Hi there! My name is Kailani, and I'm a beautiful 3.5-year-old, 40 lb. hound mix with a gorgeous brindle coat. I was a bit down on my luck when I was rescued by the side of the road with a broken femur. Thankfully, the amazing vets took great care of me, and my little limp is almost all gone now!

I absolutely adore my fellow canines and can be quite a playful rascal with them. When it comes to humans, I'm a bit more on the shy side and can be skittish, so I'm looking for a home with confident dogs to show me the ropes and patient humans who are willing to help me build my confidence. Cats are still a bit of a mystery to me! I do get a little mouthy when I'm excited and playing, so it would be best if I went to a home with older children.

Kailani would thrive in a home with other confident dogs and patient humans who can help her overcome her skittishness. She needs a home with older children due to her mouthy play.

Ongoing Health

Kailani was rescued with a broken femur which has been treated by vets. She has a slight, almost disappeared limp. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Kailani can be skittish around new people and may get mouthy when playing. She will need guidance and patience to build her confidence and learn appropriate play behaviors.
