About Bandit AW

Bandit is a female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky, making her extra special! She was born on July 21, 2025, and weighed in at a healthy 71 pounds in early March. Bandit is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations and preventatives. She was a perfect patient during her procedures, readily taking her medicine, especially when mixed with tasty wet food. Bandit has a playful spirit and loves to chase balls, chew on bones, and wrestle with her siblings. She's even made friends with a Great Dane, so she can certainly keep up with the big dogs! Her favorite game involves a stuffing-filled toy, and she's quite adept at making it look like it snowed indoors. While she's used to an outdoor cat who keeps her distance, her compatibility with friendly felines is unknown. Bandit is a total sweetheart with people, enjoying snuggles and giving kisses. She's also great with the foster grandkids, ages 4 and 8, though she can sometimes get a little too excited and accidentally knock them over, always apologizing with affection. DNA tests confirm her mother is 100% German Shepherd and her father is 81% German Shepherd and 19% Husky, accounting for her beautiful looks.

Ideal Home

Bandit would thrive in an active family that enjoys playtime and outdoor adventures.

Ongoing Health

Bandit is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines and preventions.

Training & Support

Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door. She is still working on crate training, leash training, and getting more comfortable meeting new people. She can be a little reserved initially but warms up quickly with patience, encouragement, and treats.
