Meet Valentina, a spirited senior lady who is ready to find her forever home! Valentina was found on the beach in Nuevo Nayarit with severe flea dermatitis, but she has healed beautifully and is incredibly active for her age. She's dog social and loves to run, but her favorite thing is being the center of human attention. Shelter life can be overwhelming for her, as it's loud and busy. She can also get a bit possessive when she's not getting the affection she craves. In a calm home with structure and love, Valentina will truly shine. She's sweet, active, and full of personality. While she's dog social, she would likely thrive as a solo dog, or with a very carefully considered match. Valentina is ready to adjust quickly to a loving home. She is absolutely adoptable and just needs someone who sees her worth.
Ideal Home
Valentina would thrive in a calm home with structure and love. She would do best as a solo dog, or with the right canine companion.
Ongoing Health
Valentina has fully recovered from flea dermatitis.
Training & Support
Valentina can get possessive when she is not receiving attention. Providing her with consistent affection and clear boundaries will help her settle in.

Transportation
Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian companion is unavailable. This remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward, with volunteers often helping to bring dogs to adopters at the border.
