Blackie

Hi there! I'm Blackie, a 5-year-old sweet Lab mix with a fantastic personality. I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of guy and a true couch potato at heart. I was found wandering on the road and it seems I was abandoned, but I'm now in a foster home, eagerly awaiting my chance at a forever family. I have so much love and attention to give to a caring family who will provide me with a safe place to live and a warm lap to rest my head on.

Ideal Home

I'd love a home where I can be a beloved companion. I enjoy gentle walks several times a day and do well with baths and daily brushings.

Ongoing Health

I'm in awesome shape with bright white teeth! I'm up-to-date on vaccinations, treated for flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and dewormed. I am also microchipped and neutered.

Training & Support

I walk well on a leash, get along with other dogs, and sleep soundly on the bed. I don't bark much, except to alert when someone's at the door or when I'm playing. I know and obey commands, stay on trail, and love treats. I'm highly trainable and eager to please, though I'm still getting over losing my previous home.
