Meet our husky girl Lucy Van Pelt!

Lucy is a strong, intelligent gal with plenty of personality and a heart of gold. She's a true love bug who is deeply devoted to her pack. Her foster family says she is the smartest husky they've ever fostered! With her piercing blue eyes, she might look like she's judging you, but don't let that fool you; she's an absolute sweetheart.

Lucy is 4 years old and weighs 45 lbs. She's incredibly smart and highly treat-motivated, showing remarkable results in obedience training and eager to keep learning. She is already house-trained. Lucy's skin and scabs are healing perfectly thanks to a special diet and care. She is a healthy eater who loves fresh snacks like apples, cucumbers, and broccoli stems.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives on a structured routine that includes two 45-minute walks a day alongside a 30-minute exercise session. She would do best in a work-from-home environment or in a household with other dogs to keep her company during the day. She is great with other dogs and most likely cats, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet home.

Ongoing Health

Lucy had a skin condition that is now healing perfectly.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner and has already shown remarkable results in obedience training. She is described as having a beautifully vocal personality and will let out a howl if she's excited or if her dinner is taking too long, but she is a polite hostess who doesn't bark at visitors. She is devoted to her pack.
