Sydney

Sydney is a playful and affectionate pup who has blossomed in her foster home! She's a quick learner with a nose for adventure, and she absolutely adores the water. Sydney loves to be around her people, including kids and her foster family's husband. She's still a bit of a puppy and is working on some house manners, but her playful spirit and loving nature shine through.

Ideal Home

Sydney would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Given her chewing habits, a home that can provide appropriate chew toys and supervise her closely when she's exploring would be ideal. She loves water and kids, so a family that enjoys outdoor activities and has children would be a great fit.

Sydney is a healthy puppy.

Training & Support

Sydney is still learning leash manners and is not yet fully leash-trained. She has a tendency to chew on things she shouldn't, so consistent redirection with appropriate chew toys and firm but kind corrections (like a clap and a "no") are important. She also needs continued socialization and training to build on the confidence she's gained.
