About a year ago, he was found in rural Mississippi with a severe head wound, a testament to a difficult past. He lost vision in one eye, but his journey of healing has been nothing short of remarkable. Today, Rambo is fully recovered and embraces life with incredible enthusiasm. His partial vision doesn't hinder his zest for running, playing, and exploring; he experiences the world with a joy that is truly infectious. More than what he's survived, Rambo's defining characteristic is the depth of his affection. He is incredibly affectionate, forming strong bonds with his people, constantly seeking attention and wanting to be close. He expresses his emotions fully – his joy, excitement, and adventurous spirit are palpable, especially when he's outdoors.

Rambo would thrive in a home where he can share his immense love and enthusiasm. Due to his strong prey drive, he needs a home without small animals or small dogs. He does well with other large dogs and is currently enjoying playtime with his foster siblings.

Ongoing Health

Rambo has recovered from a significant head wound and has partial vision loss in one eye. This does not impact his daily life or his ability to enjoy all that life has to offer. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Rambo is crate trained and house trained. He is responsive when he is calm and thrives with structure, consistency, and confident leadership.
