Ella - NEEDS FOSTER OR FOSTER WITH INTENT TO ADOPT

Ella is a 3-year-old, 98-pound female Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for a temporary foster home or a foster-to-adopt situation. She's described as friendly, calm, and well-behaved. Ella is house-trained and is making good progress with crate training, settling down after initial crying. She enjoys soft chew jerky and sleeps on the floor at night. Ella is leash-trained and responds to commands like "sit" and "lay down." She gets along well with other dogs and is very friendly towards new people.

Ideal Home

Ella requires a secure privacy fence that is at least 5 feet high, as she can climb or jump over chain-link fences. A home where someone works from home or is otherwise present for much of the day would be ideal, as she doesn't like to be separated from her people. Her foster home is working on this separation anxiety with her. Information about her compatibility with cats and children is not available.

Ongoing Health

Ella will be spayed and up-to-date on her distemper, rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations.

Training & Support

Ella is house-trained and progressing well with crate training. Her foster family is working on her separation anxiety. Continued training to help her build confidence and overcome any fears of abandonment will be beneficial.
