Can they be stubborn? Oh yes but it is not without logic. Originally developed to battle the ultra-stubborn badger the dachshund needs that tenacity. Into the badger burrow the small, short, slender dog charges. Dig dig dig! Find the beast, incapacitate it, and drag it to the surface. Not many creatures would dare attempt that. Despite this the dachshund is a wonderful companion. Forever curious, and with innate cunning mischievousness, they can none the less instantly melt for their owner and become tail wagging face lickers. What dachshund doesn’t flop on its back for a luxurious belly rub? And fast? How could a creature with such short legs run so fast? Their speed never ceases to amaze. At Hilltop Kennel we know the personalities of each of our puppies and how to match them with prospective owners. Each puppy sold will be provided with, a Florida Health Certificate, AKC Registration application, Bill of Sale/Health Guarantee, Health Record, in addition each puppy will be sold with a basic puppy kit,( toy, blanket, and sample of puppy food)" Diane Steele is from Florida and breeds Dachshunds.
