About Jelly Bean

Meet Jelly Bean! This sweet girl and her sister, Buttons, are looking for their forever homes. They started their journey abandoned in a parking lot in Tennessee, but thankfully, they are now safe and sound in a loving foster home. They are getting all the love, care, and guidance they need to blossom into wonderful companions. Jelly Bean is a curious, playful, and joyful 8-week-old puppy who is ready for adventure!

Ideal Home

Jelly Bean needs a home that is excited to be her teacher, adventure buddy, and lifelong best friend. Prospective adopters should be prepared for the commitment of raising a puppy, including puppy-proofing their home and understanding that puppies can nip and scratch. Homes with small children should be prepared for this behavior.

Ongoing Health

Jelly Bean is too young for spay/neuter surgery and heartworm testing. A spay/neuter contract will be required and strictly enforced. She will receive puppy vaccinations before traveling, and all subsequent vaccinations will be the adopter's responsibility. She is microchipped.

Training & Support

Jelly Bean is still very much a baby and will need continued training, socialization, and house manners with patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. Adopters must attend training/behavior classes with their new dog unless they are an experienced dog owner and their adoption coordinator is comfortable with their experience. She is not typically housetrained.
