He's a sweetheart who prefers to take things slow when meeting new people and other dogs, as he's still learning that the world can be a kind place. Stanley is currently enjoying life in a loving foster home and is eagerly awaiting his forever family. Could that be you?
Stanley has shown us how sweet he is, even with playful pups around. He's calm and enjoys exploring his surroundings, which includes exciting road trips and beach adventures with his foster family. He loves the beach – the salty air and the sand between his paws! Stanley would be thrilled to see the world with you.
He's a smart boy too! Stanley knows how to sit, walks beautifully on a leash, and is an absolute dream in the car, often just snuggling up for a peaceful nap. He was also a very good boy at the vet, maintaining his calm demeanor, and even made friends with an 8-year-old who helped him practice his sits for treats! Stanley is a sweet boy who we believe could fit into many different families. He's a little too interested in kitties, so a home without them would be best, but we're happy to test him with anything else you might need. Given his laid-back attitude and quiet nature, we think Stanley could do well in an apartment, though he'd also love a yard for sunbathing and sniffaris!

Transporation
Stanley is currently in Texas. Transport is available across the US through their own internal transport system to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT).
