Meet Nyla! This sweet girl is a social butterfly who is ready to find her forever family. Nyla is a pleasure to spend time with – she greets her friends with soft eyes and a wiggly, happy body. She is an absolute star on the leash, walking calmly and politely, which makes her an ideal partner for daily walks or neighborhood explorations. Nyla loves to sniff around and discover new things, often checking in for pets and affection with a wagging tail. She is a gentle soul who handles beautifully. While she hasn't shown much interest in toys just yet, she's more than happy to focus on her human companions. She is a smart girl who loves her snacks, and while she can be a little enthusiastic about treats, she is a gem when offered them from an open palm. After she has finished her adventures for the day, Nyla is happy to head back to her kennel and settle in for a well-deserved rest. Ideal Home
Nyla would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of attention and interaction with her human companions. She needs a home environment that will prevent her from injuring her muzzle, as she has a tendency to push her face between kennel bars.
Ongoing Health
Nyla has experienced trauma to the right side of her muzzle due to pushing her face between kennel bars. This has resulted in an erythematous, superficial, minimally bleeding injury. It is recommended to move her to a different type of kennel to prevent further injury.
Training & Support
Nyla knows "sit" and is treat motivated. She can be a little enthusiastic about treats, so offering them from an open palm is recommended. When returning to her kennel, she has been observed barking. She also has a tendency to push her face between kennel bars, causing injury.
