Hercules

Meet Hercules! This sweet, loving, and affectionate cattle dog mix has been with us for a while, and he's looking for his forever family. True to his breed, Hercules needs plenty of exercise and a daily purpose, which can be hard to provide in a shelter environment. Because of this, he has developed some anxiety, but a behavioral trainer has evaluated him and found him to be a great dog with no aggression. He does have boundaries and triggers that need to be respected and handled appropriately, and most importantly, he needs an outlet for his energy.

Ideal Home

Hercules would thrive with an adopter who is experienced with herding breeds and understands anxiety in dogs. An active family that can provide him with daily exercise, a calm and reassuring environment, and respect his individuality and boundaries is ideal.
