Andi

Andi is a gorgeous, tiny 4.5 lb girl who is approximately 2 years old. She's a future tripod with an amazing demeanor, often mistaken for a more mature pup. Andi was picked up as a stray with an injured front right paw. X-rays revealed an old injury with fused bones in her wrist, causing it to bend. While it doesn't cause her pain now, it may lead to arthritis in the future. This means she'll be having surgery to remove her "captain hook" paw and will be a perfect little tripod! In her foster home, Andi has only had a few accidents and lets her foster mom know when she needs to go potty. She's a stage 5 clinger, obsessed with her people, and content just being near you. Give her a chance, and she'll turn into a "chi-parrot," happily snuggling on your shoulder.

Ideal Home

Andi would love a home where she can be close to her people. She's content in a dog bed nearby but will also happily perch on your shoulder for snuggles.

Ongoing Health

Andi is scheduled for her spay surgery on July 8th and her front right paw surgery (to remove the "captain hook") on July 23rd. She is expected to be ready for her new home on July 24th. Due to her old paw injury, she may develop arthritis in the future.

Training & Support

Andi is still learning and has had only a few accidents in her foster home, even alerting her foster mom when she needs to go out. She hasn't started playing with toys yet but is very food motivated.
