Magnolia

Magnolia is a sweet, approximately 2-year-old mixed breed girl who weighs 26 lbs. Her DNA shows a fun mix of breeds, with Pekingese and Chihuahua being the most prominent! She has one good eye and is unable to see out of her left eye, likely due to being born that way or an injury. This doesn't seem to bother her at all, and she navigates the world with ease, just like any other pup. Magnolia is described as a loving companion who enjoys curling up near her foster's feet. She is generally well-behaved and appears to be pretty house-trained. She also does well on a leash, though she may pull a bit initially.

Ideal Home

Magnolia would do well as an only dog or with a canine buddy.

Ongoing Health

Magnolia has a visual impairment in her left eye. Our vet has examined her, and it doesn't appear to affect her daily life.

Training & Support

Magnolia is a good girl who is mostly house-trained and walks well on a leash, with just a little initial pulling.

• All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza). They are also on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and parasites.

Transporation

Magnolia is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas. The adoption fee includes transportation to the Roanoke/Troutville, VA area via Mighty Mutt Shipping.
