With other dogs, Steven has a more dominant play style and does best with pups who match his energy and have proper introductions. Steven would thrive in an active home with experienced dog owners who can continue his training and provide him with adventures. He needs a home without cats, as he will try to chase them. While not tested with young children, he should do well with older, dog-savvy kids who understand boundaries.

Steven has had stenotic nares surgery to help with his breathing, which is typical for his breed. He will be neutered by CrisisDogsNC prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Steven is crate-trained and working on his potty training, making improvements daily with consistency. He is also learning leash manners and can pull from excitement, but is eager to improve. He has a more dominant play style with other dogs and can get overexcited when greeting them, so he will benefit from guidance in these areas.
