Coal is a friendly, playful, and energetic young boy with a curious spirit! He's athletic and loves going for walks and playing at the park. We estimate he's about 5 years old. While we don't know much about his past, we do know he was rescued from the Borger, Texas pound and is now eager to find his forever family. He is crate-trained and generally does well with other dogs, but he is dog-selective and prefers to meet new friends slowly. Coal is a loving and loyal companion who would be a wonderful addition to your home.
Ideal Home
Coal would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He needs a patient adopter who understands his need to meet new dog friends gradually.
Ongoing Health
Coal is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. He has tested negative for heartworm and his fecal was clear within 14 days of transport.
Training & Support
Coal is crate-trained. He's working on his dog introductions and will benefit from a slow and careful approach to meeting new canine companions.
