Duke

Duke is a dapper gentleman with an active personality and a heart full of love to give. He's a bit cautious of strangers and can be wary of men, offering a bark to let them know he's there. However, once Duke feels comfortable and gets to know you, he transforms into a big lovebug who's always ready to ham it up! He's a treat-motivated boy who's eager to please and already knows his basic commands, making him a joy to train. Even at 9 years old, he's still a playful baby at heart!

Ideal Home

Duke enjoys the company of other dogs his size, with whom he currently socializes daily. He can be a bit of a pushover with dominant dogs, so a calm canine companion would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Duke is a senior boy and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Duke is treat-motivated and eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training. He walks well on leash and knows basic commands, but continued socialization and building confidence with new people, especially men, will be beneficial.
