This sweet, 5.5-year-old Staffordshire mix weighs about 60lbs and has a face that will melt your heart. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. We can't understand why this loving girl hasn't received an application yet! Akira is fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly gentle when taking treats. She enjoys lounging on comfy dog beds, going for walks, and playing with her stuffed toys. Akira adores people and gets along well with calm, submissive dogs. While she enjoys canine companionship, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only! She is a big love bug who will shower you with a lifetime of unconditional love.

Akira is a spayed female. Our veterinarian has provided an estimated age, breed, and size for Akira.
Training & Support
Akira is crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She is a well-behaved dog who listens and follows commands well.

Transportation
Akira is currently in foster care in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports depart every few weeks.
