Pretty Penny

Pretty Penny is a sweet, curious Beagle Mix who is growing braver every day. She loves ear rubs, curling up beside her person, morning sniffing adventures, car rides, and cozy naps. Once she trusts you, her silly and affectionate side shines through.

Ideal Home

Pretty Penny would thrive with a patient, loving family willing to let her build trust at her own pace. She enjoys other dogs and may benefit from a confident canine companion. She has not lived with cats or children; cats are unknown, and children in the home must be at least 5 years old. Because sudden movements and loud noises can startle her, she would be happiest without young children.

Ongoing Health

Pretty Penny tested positive for Lyme disease but is currently healthy and has shown no symptoms. Recent kidney testing was normal, and her rescue can discuss her medical history with her adopter.

Training & Support

She is crate trained and very close to being potty trained. She is an excellent car rider, rarely barks unless startled, and is currently working with a trainer to build confidence around unfamiliar people. Her adopter should be mindful of open trash cans, which she enthusiastically investigates.
