Hello, I'm Royce! I'm a handsome and playful 1.5-year-old, 40 lb Catahoula/Retriever mix with a shiny coat that gets lots of compliments. I can be a little timid when I first meet new people, but I warm up quickly with a tasty treat! I'm used to a lively home environment with older kids and enjoy playing with all sorts of toys, especially those I can really sink my teeth into. I'm potty trained and love going for walks, though I can sometimes be a bit excitable around other dogs. My foster mom has been working on my leash manners, and I'm making great progress, especially when I have a little space. I dream of a home where I can have adventures, maybe even hike or play in the snow – how fun would that be?! A nice fenced yard for me to run and play in would be wonderful. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion, I just know we'll become best friends in no time!
