Meet Sugar! This sweet, affectionate 1.5-year-old Baladi mix, weighing around 48 pounds, is ready to leave her past behind and find a forever home where she can truly blossom. Sugar's story began in uncertain circumstances. She was rescued alongside her mom and four siblings shortly after birth, huddled under a tree in the scorching Egyptian summer while locals threatened their lives. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in just in time, bringing all six dogs to safety. Since then, Sugar has grown up in the shelter, waiting patiently for her chance at a brighter future. She has a wonderful medium energy level—she enjoys playtime and companionship but also loves to relax and soak up affection from her people. Sugar gets along well with other dogs, is great with people and kids, and would make a beautiful addition to many types of families. She has a warm, loving personality and doesn't need to be the only dog; she'd likely enjoy having a canine companion, but will be just as happy being your loyal best friend.
