Oso is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. He doesn't hand out his heart to just anyone, but when he chooses you, you become his whole world. His foster mom is his favorite person, and watching him light up when she walks into the room is truly magical. His tail wags, his whole body softens, and this gentle, quiet boy turns into the sweetest love bug you've ever met. He'll soak up pets, lean in for affection, and remind you every day just how much he adores you. Oso is wonderfully low-maintenance and low-energy. His dream life consists of a comfy place to nap, a few leisurely walks, a car ride here and there, and his favorite people nearby. He has mastered the art of relaxing and is an excellent passenger, ready to be your co-pilot for errands, road trips, or weekend adventures. Oso can be a little shy when meeting new people and appreciates being allowed to move at his own pace. Beneath that cautious exterior is an incredibly gentle, loving dog who wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved. Give him patience, kindness, and tasty treats, and you'll watch his personality bloom into a sweet boy with a silly happy tail and a capacity for love that runs deep.
Ideal Home
Oso would be happy as your one and only spoiled companion or in a home with other dogs, as he has excellent canine manners and respects their space. He also showed wonderful promise around cats, politely minding his own business and giving them space, suggesting he could do well in a home with cat-savvy felines. He needs an adopter who will give him patience and kindness to help him bloom.
Ongoing Health
