Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 1-year-old Redbone Hound/Labrador Retriever mix who is ready to fill your life with love and companionship. This sweet girl, weighing around 50 pounds, is the total package: loving, smart, easygoing, and incredibly well-mannered. Ivy has never met a stranger and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a friendly paw shake, always eager to soak up affection. She has a wonderfully calming effect on other dogs, as even our usually reserved German Shepherd, Roxas, adores her. Ivy walks beautifully on a leash and displays excellent manners both at home and in public, easily adjusting to new situations. Whether you're looking for a cozy night in or an exciting adventure, Ivy is happy to be by your side. She is fantastic with other dogs and enjoys making new canine friends with her gentle nature. Sadly, Ivy found herself in a high-kill shelter through no fault of her own, but her sweet temperament shone through and helped save her life. Now, she's ready for the happy ending she deserves with a forever family.

Ideal Home

Ivy needs a home with an adequately and fully fenced yard. Electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Ivy is described as incredibly well-mannered and easygoing.
