Meet Tank – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Fresh Start
Tank is a 2-year-old Husky/Pit Bull mix who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving family he deserves. Tank came to us through a seizure case in heartbreaking condition. He was severely emaciated, but thanks to the care he's received, he's slowly gaining weight and getting stronger every day. Shelter life has been stressful for him, and while the kennel can be overwhelming, there's a completely different dog waiting to shine once he's comfortable. Tank is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He previously lived with other dogs, and we feel he has the potential to do well with a canine companion. A dog meet is required to make sure everyone is a good match. We are unsure how he is with cats, so any introductions should be done with extreme caution and very slowly. Tank is nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but once he trusts you, he's an absolute love bug who just wants to be close to his people. Because of this, we'd like everyone in the household to come to the meet-and-greet so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. At only 2 years old, Tank is still very much a puppy. He'll benefit from continued training, structure, and patience as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place. He absolutely loves being outside, exploring new places, and soaking up all the sights and smells. An active family would be a wonderful fit for him, giving him healthy outlets for his energy while helping him build confidence. Tank has already overcome so much. Now all he needs is someone willing to believe in him and give him the second chance he's been waiting for. Could that be you?
