Dexter

Dexter is a sweet, 7-year-old boy looking for a cozy new place to call home. He ended up at the shelter because his family had to move and couldn't take him with them. Dexter is an easygoing guy who loves simple things like soft toys, belly rubs, and spending time with his people. He knows the command "go to bed" and is happy to go to his crate, which he's comfortable in as he was used to being crated when home alone and at night.

Ideal Home

Dexter is showing strong signs of being housebroken and has great manners. He can be a little nervous around loud noises, so a calmer environment where he can feel safe and relaxed would be ideal. He does well with dogs his size but hasn't been around larger dogs much. He is good with kids and has no known history with cats.

Ongoing Health

Dexter is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dexter can pull a bit on leash but still enjoys walks.
