Clocking in at a manageable 34 lbs, Blue is what we like to call a "compact Husky." He has all the iconic fluff and stunning looks of the breed, but in a much more portable and chilled-out package! While we think he's a classic Siberian mix, in the world of rescue, breed is always a bit of a fun guessing game. What we do know for sure is that he's the perfect size for car rides and easy strolls without being a "big dog" handful. Blue is a truly special soul who is finally learning that it's okay to ask for love. While he's a bit shy about initiating cuddles at first, you can tell he's just waiting for an invitation to be by your side. He's the perfect "starter Husky" for someone who loves the breed's personality but wants a dog that's already mastered the art of relaxation. He's currently thriving in a foster environment where he gets to coexist with other furry friends. Blue has his house manners down. Whether you're heading out for errands or it's just time to settle in for the night, Blue is happy to retreat to his "den" for some quiet time. He treats his crate like a private suite and is an easy housemate.
Ideal Home
Blue might appreciate a canine companion, so we recommend a low-energy buddy or he also thrives as your one and only! He passed his cat test with flying colors and prefers peaceful coexistence! Because Blue likes to express himself with those classic Husky howls and barks once he feels at home, he is not a candidate for apartment living. He needs a house where he can sing his songs without worrying the neighbors!

- The adoption fee is $1,400.00 and includes all vetting, transport, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
- Adopters receive a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion and a free private online dog training session with GoodPup.
- Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
