Briskie is a handsome, laid-back boy, about three to four years old, looking for a forever friend. He's a Terrier mix with a sweet disposition, gentle nature, and a love for walks, wading, and playing in the grass. Briskie is potty-trained and enjoys being close to his people. He has experience raising puppies and was a beloved companion to them. Briskie was found abandoned and thin but remained hopeful, and now he shines, ready to share his joy and loyalty with a loving family. He's the perfect companion for someone with time to cherish, walk, and relax with him.

Ideal Home

Briskie would thrive with someone who has the time for leisurely walks, playtime, and quiet companionship. He's described as a good match for those "grown still" who can appreciate his gentle, patient, and wise nature.

Ongoing Health

All dogs receive comprehensive veterinary care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations (DHLPP, rabies, Bordetella), heartworm testing with negative results, microchipping, parasite treatment, and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. A health certificate from a licensed Louisiana veterinarian is provided.

Transportation

Briskie is currently located in Alexandria, Louisiana. Transport to designated New England adopter pick-up locations and foster homes is available and included in the adoption fee via Mighty Mutts Shipping, Pets LLC, or CAFA Transport. An additional fee of $155.00 applies for residents of Massachusetts and New Hampshire due to state quarantine requirements.
