Lola is a truly happy and entertaining dog who lives for a game of fetch. She's got the retrieval down, but sometimes forgets the next step to get the toy thrown again – part of her comical charm! She absolutely adores playful dogs who enjoy chasing, wrestling, and general rough-and-tumble fun. Toys are her favorite, and she's great at self-entertaining, always ready to turn life into recess.
Ideal Home
Lola would thrive with an active family who enjoys training and wants an enthusiastic sidekick for adventures, hikes, and training classes. She's a resilient, loving, and goofy dog who handles new situations with confidence. She needs a home without cats and would prefer not to live in an apartment, as she needs room to run! If you have more than one playful dog, they should be sturdy, over 25 lbs, enjoy physical play, and know how to take breaks.

Training & Support
Being young and driven, Lola will benefit from a structured home environment committed to helping her learn good doggy manners. She is learning to settle in the home and may need encouragement to relax in exciting situations. The good news is, she responds well to guidance and positive redirection.

Transporation
Lola is currently in Texas but can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track her journey in real-time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
