Navajo is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing pup who brings the perfect balance of playful energy and relaxed companionship. He's the kind of dog who's just as happy joining you for a daily walk as he is curling up nearby for a cozy evening at home. Navajo loves toys and will often greet you at the door proudly carrying his favorite stuffed animal. He's also a champion cuddler who loves being close to his people.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He doesn't need an ultra-active lifestyle – just consistent exercise, love, and companionship. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. Navajo would do best in a cat-free home.
Ongoing Health
Navajo needed dental work upon arrival in foster care, and several damaged teeth were removed, including his canines. His remaining teeth are healthy, and he still happily chews his favorite bones without any trouble.
Training & Support
Navajo is fully house-trained and crate-trained (though he doesn't need to be crated at home and will happily nap in his crate with the door open). He can be left loose in the house when you're away and has shown no signs of separation anxiety. He is polite and non-reactive on leash, though he may pull a little at the start of walks when he's excited. He generally reads social cues well, though occasionally may need gentle redirection if he gets a little too excited.
