Kamoku & Kasumi

Kamoku, a 14-year-old, 17 lb male Dachshund mix, and Kasumi, a 5-year-old, 38 lb (goal weight 22 lbs) female Cairn Terrier mix, are a bonded pair who were surrendered to us when their beloved owner's health declined. Their previous owner cherished them dearly, documenting their lives with a decade's worth of holiday photos, and it's clear these two were deeply loved. When separated, Kamoku lost his appetite, and Kasumi became distressed, showing just how strong their bond is. They are now looking for a home where they can continue their lives together, bringing their mellow and affectionate companionship.

Ideal Home

Kamoku and Kasumi are good with kids, cats, and other dogs. They are looking for a home where they can stay together and continue to be each other's best friend.

Ongoing Health

Kasumi is currently working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs.

Training & Support

When together, Kamoku and Kasumi are mellow and affectionate with people and coexist calmly with other pets.

Transporation

Kamoku and Kasumi are currently fostered in Brooklyn, NY. They are available for local or out-of-state adoption, provided that the adopter can travel to meet them.
