Whos tiny, white, curly, and extra fluffy? Well, that's Oscar for you! Oscar is an estimated 3-year-old, 15-pound Maltese Chihuahua mix who is learning the ways of the world. He's a playful little guy who loves toys and treats. Oscar is a lap dog through and through and is sure to be your perfect companion.

Ideal Home

Oscar would do best in a home with a yard, as he loves to spend time outdoors. He also prefers a calm environment and would do well with older children who understand and respect his boundaries. While Oscar hasn't been tested with cats, he's likely to do well with them due to his size, though he may want to play eventually.

Ongoing Health

Oscar is up-to-date on all his vetting, including vaccines, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Oscar is a timid boy who likes to take things slow. Earning his trust is a special experience, as he falls hard for those he loves and is incredibly loyal. He is trusted to free roam in the house and sleeps in his foster's bed at night. He enjoys snuggling on the couch or in his cozy dog bed and is happy sitting on the porch with his canine siblings.

Transporation

Oscar is currently in Texas and can be transported to various locations nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. We also offer transport to Canada, with pick-up locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
