This adorable little guy is Sake Sushi! He's a 6-week-old, 2-pound bundle of joy, likely a German Shepherd and Husky mix, though rescue makes it a fun guess! Sake is one of the most urgent puppies needing a home in the US, as shelters in his area are facing heartbreaking euthanasia rates. By choosing Sake, you're not only saving his life but also opening up space for another pup in need. He's the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, enjoying rambunctious play with his siblings but equally happy to snuggle up on your lap afterward. Ideal Home

Sake is still very young and requires a family committed to his training, socialization, and the general dedication puppyhood entails. A home that can implement routine, structure, boundaries, and proper socialization from the start will help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog.

Ongoing Health

Sake is up-to-date on all his vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been microchipped.

Training & Support

He will need a family that is committed to crate training immediately upon arrival to aid in potty training, energy management, and overall development.

Transporation

Sake is located in Texas. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide. Transport is available to drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
