Ella

Ella is a nearly 4-year-old Husky mix who came to us when she was surrendered to a vet clinic. She's been enjoying her time in a loving foster home in Birmingham, Alabama, and is ready to find her forever family! Ella's foster mom describes her as a dog who loves to be active, enjoying walks, hikes, and even splashing in creeks. She's a social girl who enjoys attention and is good with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Ella would be a wonderful companion for an active individual or family. Because she is a dominant female, she would do best in a home with a more submissive male dog, or as the only dog. She also gets along with cats, though she doesn't interact with them in her foster home. We do prefer Ella have a fenced yard to safely enjoy her active lifestyle.

Ongoing Health

Ella is spayed, vaccinated, and has received a health check and certificate from a licensed veterinarian.

Training & Support

Ella is house-trained. As a dominant female, she benefits from guidance from a dog-savvy individual who can help her navigate her social interactions with other dogs.
