Meet Ziggy! This sweet 8-year-old Schnauzer is a true gem who spent years waiting to be noticed. Sadly, she experienced neglect, missing out on regular vet care, family inclusion, and the love every dog deserves. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in, showering Ziggy with affection and advocating for her well-being. Now, after being brought up to date on her care and arriving at Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue, Ziggy is ready to find her forever family. She's a wonderful companion who adores people and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and gentle children. Having passed the energetic puppy stage, Ziggy prefers a peaceful environment where she can enjoy quiet walks, relax, and receive all the love she's always deserved. She's healthy, happy, and eager to be someone's cherished best friend.

Ziggy would thrive in a peaceful home where she can relax and enjoy leisurely strolls. She's not a fan of boisterous play or overly energetic dogs bouncing around her.

• All decision-makers in the home must agree on adoption.
• Adopters must be 21 years or older.

Transporation

Ziggy is currently in an Alabama foster home and will be transported to the New England area after adoption. The adoption fee includes transport.
