Meet Abe, a charming adult male Flat-Coated Retriever with a heart full of love to give! Abe is a dog-friendly fellow who is already house and crate trained. He's looking for a special family to call his own.

Ideal Home

Abe would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard, as this is a requirement for his adoption. He is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Abe has some urinary issues and requires a special C/D diet. He also needs to be fed separately from other pets in the home.

Training & Support

Abe is house and crate trained, which are great foundations! He just needs a little extra care with his feeding routine and a loving home that understands his dietary needs.

• Applications to adopt Abe start by contacting us through Wags.
• Abe's adoption fee is $200.
• All resident animals in the home must be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.
• We do not adopt to homes with electric or underground fencing.
• Once approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet. Approved adopters should be prepared to bring Abe home within 1–3 days of approval.

Abe is located in Elkhart, IN. We require adopters to live within an hour of Elkhart, IN, or Cassopolis, MI.
