Meet Vaquero! This handsome 3-year-old Shepherd is a bundle of playful energy, a sharp mind, and a heart brimming with love. He came to us when his family could no longer keep him, through no fault of his own, and now he's ready to find a forever home where he'll be cherished.

Vaquero is an intelligent and active boy who thrives when he has things to do. He'd be happiest with a family who loves the outdoors and can include him in daily walks, hikes, or fun playtime. As a Shepherd, he's eager to learn and loves having his mind and body engaged.

While he has an athletic side, Vaquero is also a big cuddle bug who loves being with his people. He'll happily snuggle up after a day of adventure. He forms strong bonds and enjoys being a part of family life.

Vaquero is a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs, is friendly with cats, and does great with children, making him a wonderful addition to many different households.
